The song features a rap by the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes. To promote the release of the single Melanie and Lisa performed the track together on Top Of The Pops and MTV. The recording of the MTV performance is featured as a B-side on the I Turn To You single.

As Melanie was no longer able to perform such an upbeat track during her promotional activities, the release was changed to a double A-side including the fan favorite ballad Melt.
